Great fish and chip shop, the fish is good flakes and the batter is light crispy and not oily and good chips. I drive out of my way to go there because all the other local fish and chip shops don't come close. Spotlessly clean and good service. I haven't given an atmosphere rating as it is a takeaway and not restaurant. I would recommend it.

Second time of trying, through Uber on this occasion (deliveroo previously). Uber were pretty useless in the delivery part, numerous cars over the course of an hour etc etc....however... the team at the loft had taken this in mind and everything had clearly been cooked fresh as the driver arrived, it hadn't been sat waiting in a bag. The fish, both my large and my wife's regular, were superb. Flaky fish, crisp batter, no latent grease. Just like the first time. The chips I dont normally eat, demolished them. Mushy peas and curry sauce good too, bit more seasoning maybe but we can do that bit at home. It was a replica of our first time a few months ago. I've also just worked out where you are in the petrol station...we stopped here on our way into the city a year ago the day we bought our house...come and see you next time. Thankyou, best fish and chips since university days in Newcastle. Keep up the good work.

**Update** I went back-too good to resist..mushy peas aren't too bad either! No photo because it was too scrummy to wait. I can't remember the last time I was given a lemon wedge and some Tartare sauce with takeaway fish and chips - a very nice touch which brought out the flavour of the cod. Fish and the chips cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

The loft were so helpful with a large order we did recently. Getting 30 meals all ready on time, all hot, all bagged up and all named correctly to go to various little little groups of people in the way we requested, is not easy but everyone was delighted. Thoroughly recommend them.

On our way back from West Wittering beach, we stopped over. First time. We had guests with us from Sheffield. All said this was one of the best F&C they had in recent times. Excellent menu, good staff, with exceptional attitude to serve. Hope to be back soon 😊
